BATANGA IS A PROUD PARTNER OF THE FRESHWATER TRUST, WHOSE MISSION IS TO PRESERVE AND RESTORE FRESHWATER ECOSYSTEMS.

Currently, there are restoration and conservation projects in six basins across three states, including the Sandy, Deschutes, Mackenzie, Rogue, Snake, and Sacramento-San Joaquin. The organization also recently entered a contract with Washington’s King County to improve water quality in Puget Sound.

The Freshwater Trust is based in Portland, Oregon, and has received national recognition in Forbes, Scientific American, WIRED, the New York Times, and more, for its innovative work. Other funding partners include Columbia Sportswear, Deschutes Brewery, Tillamook County Creamery Association, Alaska Airlines, Salt & Straw, Patagonia, Timberline Lodge and many other regional and national companies.
